Cristina Vega


Cristina Vega-García is Associate Professor at the Department of Agriculture & Forest Engineering of the University of Lleida.

She is a Forest Engineer (ETSI Montes, UPM, 1989), MSc Forest Science (University of Alberta, 1994) and PhD in Cartographic Engineering and Geodesy (University of Alcalá, 2003).

At present she coordinates in Lleida the MSc European Forestry Erasmus mundus (2016-2019),

She teaches forest management, landscape ecology, wildfire risk analysis and other courses of the BSc in Forest Engineering, MasterFUEGO, MSc European Forestry Erasmus mundus-SEE Forestry, and MSc Mediterranean Forestry and Natural Resources Management Erasmus mundus. She is responsible for the Laboratory of Forest Planning and Landscape Analysis of the Department of Agriculture & Forest Engineering.

She belongs to the research group “Management and multi-scale analysis of forest and agricultural ecosystems under climatic change”: GAMES (SGR-1580 GRE, Generality of Catalonia, 2014), and she is affiliated with the Forest Sciences Centre of Catalonia.
